People don't admit they listen to old music too often because if you do in public they will say "What theee heck is the matter with youuu that is some oldie music!" Lol, but at home I can bet that MANY people listen to old music. Each of us have our guilty pleasures. Old Music..I mean I put on a station with 80's music and I'm can dance so much to that music it is unbelievable. New music...it is becoming so predictable, it is losing its flavor and soul. Sure I like new music because I'm a teenager, but I can see why some adults don't like it.

Hm, well, I do think people don't really listen to old music that often (I mean young people, new generations).
I do, and I'm proud of that. There's much culture in music's history.

I think people listen to old music in the privacy of their homes or cars, but when they are around people of course they are going to want to be considered "cool" or "modern" so they listen to new music. Lol I mean I like both, but my heart just falls for the older music.

I mean there a lot of old songs that have stood the test of time, I don't think many of these new songs will be remembered or even listened to in the future. Why do you think they still have 80's stations? It is that simple, old music was simply..better.

Old by a mile

Nowadays our society in music is always either "rock"/pop, Pop or rap. Those are the main ones.

Whereas back then we had a good musical system where there was none of this horrific music known as rap.I mean even now I'm listening to Money by Pink floyd.Which is a GREAT rock band. I mean look at the beatles. They were pop but they were one of the greatest bands in history. So I pick old

Well, I'm not sure about more energy. I know some old bands that had alot of energy. AC/DC being one of them. Angus Young would run around stage all the time, he was always full of energy. If you're talking about rap, than they probably do have more energy.

I don't think so. I think new music now tends to be more of the same beats, whereas old music you would have different beats and actual singing. Now and days, like I said before, anyone can make an album because they can blend your voice in with the music. They have the technology to do it. They were able to do it with William Hung.
